There's A Better Way. If you have google chrome as your browser (and if you don't: switch) get the app FLV player. It works offline and will play most video files with no hassles or malware hidden in the download.

Lots of junkware. This "software" has about 15-20 spyware/junkware programs it tries installing. I didn't get through the installer before deciding I really couldn't trust it. Cons: Shouldn't have extra softwareTricky/hidden garbage in the installer
